“If You Can Negotiate for a Car … You Can Negotiate for Anything”

Whether you’re buying a car - or anything - today, tomorrow, next week or in a year, why wait until you’re in the heat of the moment to arm yourself with powerful information and knowledge to negotiate with confidence … Grab a glass of wine and unwind with us as our panel of experts dispel myths, answer questions and arm you with information that will help you to feel more confident when you’re in the position to negotiate for a car … or just about anything.

When it comes to negotiating for a car many people, especially women, feel intimidated that they will not get a fair deal and that too many hurdles, stumbling blocks and barriers get in the way of making the process easy and fun. But knowledge is power and when you have power at your finger tips, you feel confident and strong to tackle life’s tough challenges

Karolina Dehnhard, Counsel, Family Law Department, Budd Larner

Benjamin Rosario, Assoc. Business Manager and Sales Consultant, Maplecrest Ford Lincoln

During this open conversation we’ll answer questions on the minds of many car buyers, such as: “Should I lease or buy?” “Why should I buy a Certified Pre-Owned car versus a non-CPO pre-owned?” “What should I expect during the sales process?” “What do I need to have with me to expedite the sales process?” “What different types of warranties are available and should I buy one?” And more.

Jen Miller

mustang-sallys-speaker-jen-millerAs the Head of Brand Transformation and Consumer Experience at Maplecrest Ford Lincoln, I make sure that our marketing, promotion and social media efforts tell a great story about the ways we impact and support our community. My three daughters thought I had the greatest job ever when I worked in sports marketing for Nike, World Cup ’94, The Women’s Sports Foundation and Synergy Sports. My career took a turn and I lost cool points when I transitioned to business management and leadership development where I created and facilitated professional development workshops for Fortune 500 companies and SMB’s like AT&T, CNN and The Parker Companies. I’m incredibly passionate about working with small businesses to optimize growth, and helping women discover their great potential through organizations like Women in Sports and Events (WISE), where I serve on the national executive committee and chair its mentor program.
